Roads & Parking

• Ticket sales are set at a limited capacity, you can purchase online or in person.

• Parking is available on a first-come first served basis. If the lots are full we are unable to let any additional vehicles in, even if you are a pass holder or have prepurchased tickets. Arrive before 9:30am for your best chance at getting a spot.

• ADA & Handicap parking spots are for persons with disabilities. If you or someone needs assistance call Guest Services at (530) 926-8612.

• Safety. 4-wheel, snow tires & chains may be needed to access the park. All vehicles on mountainous roads must carry chains in California.

• RV’s. Permits are required and are first come first served. Get your permit at Guest Services during operation hours ( If you arrive after hours you must register before 8 am the following morning.)

  • We do not have any power, water, or dump facilities available. All RVs and trailers must be fully contained. You may not discard any liquid waste. Outhouses are available.

  • The stay limit is 3 nights.

  • No campfires on the ground. All fires need to be contained in a portable outdoor firepit.

  • Pets must be kept on a leash- and are only allowed in the parking lot.

  • The curfew is 10 pm. No loud music or noise after curfew.
