The first Youth Enduro Race at the Ski Park this weekend was a blast! Thank you to all riders and volunteers who made the day such a success! The next event on our radar is the Mile High Archery Shoot, June 19th and 20th. Registration is open, and we extended the age range to 4+. There will also be a free youth shooting range in the base area! We are looking forward to a summer full of fun events!
We all know the trails get dusty around here in the summer, so we added imported clay dirt to reduce the dust. Re-enforcing the berms & jumps is first on the to-do list. When re-enforcing the berms we remove debris, wet the trail, add clay dirt and then compact the trails. We are currently re-enforcing the Easy Side & Flow Trails.
Summer adventures await! In about a month our lifts start spinning for the summer. We have a few things on our bucket list, including checking out the new Bigfoot Snack Shack and hiking trail. What's on yours?
The new disc golf course has been established! The course will be located on the Marmot lift this summer as the Douglas lift undergoes maintenance and upgrades. Holes 1-9 pass the NEW Bigfoot Snack Shack, where disc throwers can stock up on beer and muchies before continuing down the course! Tag a friend you wanna play with this summer!
Our summer opening is about a month away! - June 26th So what is our trail building crew up to? They have created a new hiking trail! They have widened, added smoother and easier features, and brought in clay dirt on the Easy Side Trail. They have created options on the Flow trail so you can choose your flow. And the feature trail is getting some new features! What are some features you would like to see?
